Founded in 2003 by Judy Guentzler-Collins, Arch4Eco / The Guentzler Collins Concept Group (A4E)  is a sustainable / green residential design firm whose architectural projects range from small remodeling jobs and additions to modest and high end custom residential projects in the Sierra Vista / Cochise County areas.

A4E offers a variety of services from developing initial design concepts to producing full sets of “permit-ready” construction documents. This process encompasses:

• Identifying client needs
• Determining site specific design factors (topography, climate and views)
• Developing a design through collaboration w/ the client
• Producing construction documents

We believe in preservation of the environment and encourage our clients to incorporate green elements into their designs.  As a result, we have worked with Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPS), Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF - Rastra/Eterna, Faswall & Polysteel), Strawbale, Passive/Active Solar, Rainwater/Gray Water and have recently attended a weekend workshop on Adobe and Compressed Earth Block.

.

We also welcome clients that wish to build homes using conventional methods, such as frame and stucco.
