I JUST passed the LEED Exam (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) on March 10th and am trying to catch my breath and get caught up on work. I am hoping that our next mixer will take place early April. The topic will be Co-housing. Recycling - the Truth, the Whole Truth...
You are invited to our fifth mixer on November 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pueblo del Sol Country Club in Sierra Vista. The cost is $10 for those that RSVP by Wed. November 12th at 10 a.m.. Anyone that RSVP's after that will be welcome with open arms for a mere $12. (The cost covers hors d'oeuvres.)
Recycling is our topic this time! Marty Haverty, Solid Waste Management Director for Cochise County, Mike Hemesath, City of Sierra Vista Director of Public Works and Brenda Foote, City of Sierra Vista Public Works Management Analyst will be discussing the recycling programs for both the City of Sierra Vista and Cochise County. Please come and learn the ins and outs first hand, rather than a "recycled" half-truth from a neighbor... haha!
Because of busy holiday scheduling, the room won't be available until 6:30, so we will be "mixing" from 5:30 - 6:30 on the Veranda prior to the presentation. (Or if it is cold, we can mix in the Lobby.)
